GB Floating Ball Valve

This product is a GB Floating ball valve, with the body made of A105 carbon steel, providing high mechanical strength and pressure resistance for fluid control in oil, chemical, and industrial pipeline systems. Featuring a full-bore floating ball design, the valve ensures smooth flow passage, low resistance, and rapid operation, making it suitable for bidirectional shutoff or flow regulation applications.

The valve uses a rising stem structure, allowing the opening position to be visually monitored for convenient on-site operation. Flanged ends are designed with RF (Raised Face) sealing surfaces, ensuring secure installation and compatibility with standard piping systems. Manual operation offers a simple and user-friendly mechanism, suitable for long-term service under conventional pressure ratings. Structural Characteristics of

  • The straight-through bore design allows the medium to pass with minimal change in flow direction. The resistance coefficient is close to that of a straight pipe of equal length, helping reduce system energy loss.

  • The forged steel body provides high structural strength. With fewer internal components and a compact design, the valve is lightweight and suitable for confined piping installations.

  • The floating ball is pushed against the downstream seat by line pressure, achieving self-energized sealing. PTFE or low-friction seat materials ensure stable sealing performance from vacuum to medium/high-pressure conditions.

  • Opening and closing are completed with a 90° rotation, providing quick response and low operating torque. The valve is suitable for lever, pneumatic, or electric actuation.

  • Seats and sealing rings are designed for replacement, simplifying routine maintenance and reducing downtime.

  • When fully open or fully closed, the sealing surfaces are not exposed to direct flow impact, reducing wear and erosion.
  • Suitable for water, steam, oil, gas, and other media, and widely used in petroleum, chemical, power, and general industrial piping systems.

  • Once the ball reaches the closed position, full circumferential contact with the seat ensures reliable shutoff.
