API Forged Socket-Weld Check Valve
This API forged self-sealing check valve is designed to prevent reverse flow in high-temperature and high-pressure pipeline systems. The forged steel body ensures superior structural strength and reliable performance under demanding service conditions. The pressure-assisted self-sealing bonnet enhances sealing integrity without relying on conventional gasket systems. The disc operates automatically with flow conditions, providing effective backflow prevention in power generation, petrochemical, and energy applications.

Structural Characteristics of
The body is crafted from normalized A105N forged steel, significantly enhancing low-temperature toughness and fatigue strength. This dense grain structure ensures the valve shell remains crack-free under constant pressure surges in fuel oil lines or hydraulic power units, offering reliability far superior to cast alternatives.
Featuring a classic Bolted Bonnet design secured by four heavy-duty bolts and a spiral wound gasket. This configuration provides massive mechanical clamping force to counteract thermal cycling in superheated steam lines, preventing static seal failure and ensuring long-term leak-free performance.
The seating surfaces are typically hard-faced with Stellite (Cobalt-based alloy). Even when handling heavy refinery oils containing trace particulates or high-velocity compressed air, the seats maintain superior hardness and galling resistance, drastically extending service life under frequent cycling.
The internal piston-lift structure incorporates precision guiding to ensure vertical alignment during operation. This is particularly stable for light hydrocarbon gases or low-temperature condensate, effectively eliminating disc chatter and noise caused by turbulent eddies, providing smoother flow control.
The Socket Weld ends are purpose-built for oil/gas gathering stations and petrochemical skids. This permanent fusion joint eliminates potential leak paths found in threaded connections, making it ideal for systems conveying toxic gases or costly chemicals where environmental leakage is strictly forbidden.
