API Forged Flanged Check Valve
This API forged flanged check valve is designed to prevent reverse flow and safeguard equipment in pipeline systems. The valve body is integrally forged, delivering strong structural integrity and reliable performance under varying operating conditions. Flanged ends allow secure connection and convenient maintenance. The valve functions automatically based on flow direction, ensuring consistent non-return performance in oil, chemical, and energy-related applications.

Structural Characteristics of
The body is crafted from premium ASTM A105N forged steel, eliminating internal porosity through high-pressure forging. When handling permeable media like crude and refined oils, it ensures superior shell density, providing a more reliable leak-proof barrier than castings, especially in high-safety zones like oil transfer stations.
Utilizing ASME B16.5 standardized flange ends, the installation process is greatly simplified. In chemical process skids or municipal utility networks, the flanged design allows technicians to quickly remove and replace valves for routine inspection without cutting the pipe, significantly reducing maintenance downtime.
The bonnet is secured by four high-strength bolts and a spiral wound gasket. This configuration maintains stable pre-load even under pressure pulsations in industrial cooling systems or low-pressure steam lines, effectively preventing seal failure caused by vibrations and ensuring long-term external sealing in harsh environments.
The disc features a guided lift design, operating automatically based on fluid pressure. This precision-engineered travel path enables an extremely rapid response when handling gaseous media like compressed air or natural gas, effectively neutralizing backflow impact and protecting sensitive downstream instrumentation.
Thanks to the chemical stability of A105N, this valve is widely applicable in scenarios such as water supply/drainage, thermal cycles, and petrochemical auxiliary networks. The trim is optimized for non-corrosive fluids, maintaining excellent performance across a broad temperature spectrum from -29°C to 425°C.
