GB Casting Swing Check Valve

This GB casting swing check valve is designed to prevent backflow in pipeline systems. The cast body provides solid structural integrity for stable operation across various service conditions. The swing-type disc operates automatically based on flow direction, requiring no external actuation. Its internal flow path allows relatively low resistance during operation, making it suitable for water, oil, and gas applications in municipal and industrial piping networks.

Structural Characteristics of

  • Manufactured using high-quality CF8M (316 Stainless Steel) investment casting. The addition of Molybdenum (Mo) provides excellent corrosion resistance and pitting resistance, making it highly suitable for chemical industries, seawater applications, or demanding industrial environments.

  • Features a Swing type design with an unobstructed internal flow path. When fully open, fluids pass through with minimal resistance, ensuring an extremely low pressure drop and maximizing flow capacity.

  • Equipped with a Screwed Cap/Cover featuring a hexagonal head. If internal cleaning or maintenance is required (e.g., replacing seals or clearing debris), engineers can simply unscrew the top cover for in-line maintenance without having to remove the entire valve from the pipeline.

  • Operates fully automatically via mechanics, relying entirely on the medium’s flow pressure to open the disc. When the pump stops or flow reverses, the disc closes rapidly under its own weight and backpressure, effectively preventing water hammer and protecting upstream pipelines and equipment. The body features a clear directional arrow to prevent installation errors.

  • Threaded connections make installation extremely quick and easy, requiring no complex welding equipment. The compact design takes up minimal space and allows for both horizontal and vertical installation (with upward flow direction).
